MIS Review was founded in June 1988 by the Department of Management Information Systems, College of Commerce, National Chengchi University in Taiwan. The purpose is to promote academic research and exchange in information management field. It was published mostly annually until 2006. After three years of planning, the editorial office signed a contract with Airiti, Inc. and begins in September 2009 to publish the journal bi-annually both in print and online. The journal now uses a double-blind review process and an online submission/review system. It strives for becoming a bi-lingual journal indexed by EI and TSSCI in a few years.
